Consciousness Studies (MCS) Curriculum Overview

The courses in the master of Arts in Consciousness Studies provide students with a solid foundational knowledge in the area of consciousness. We have chosen a faculty expert in science and spirituality as it relates to human consciousness to help the student walk the conceptual bridge between science and wisdom principles.

Transformational Psychology (MTP) Curriculum Overview

The courses in the master of Arts in transformational Psychology program seek to integrate western psychology and the deep understanding of the nature of personal human transformation as described in the world’s great wisdom traditions. They provide the student with the basic principles necessary to develop an integral worldview in which personal insights and experiences are explored in a context of traditional and current self awareness disciplines.

The Spinal column is the "rod of Brahma", and it is this which is symbolized by the bamboo rod carried by ascetics and the seven knotted wand of the Yogi. The spinal column and nervous system of man is a manifestation of the "world tree" of universal life referenced in a great many wisdom traditions and sharing the principles and archetypes of all creation.
